My father was a Command Sgt. Major E-9 in the Army. He died in Dec., 2008 but I would like to know if I qualif?

I would like to know if I qualify to get help with my college degree. I have gotten a Pell grant but it is running out and I still have about 4 more years to go. Someone told me that I needed an award letter in order to get it. My fathers name was CSM E-9 Lloyd Hamilton Moore Sr. He was stationed out of Ft. Bragg, N.C. Please help. Debra
