Good parks to chill around hastings/sunrise?

I'm going to be in east van this week and I'm planning on meeting someone, preferably in a park/beach, whatever. Trees, safety and not hard to find would be a plus. I'll be going to 4541 Boundary after so it would be nice if it were nearby :). Also how to get there on the bus from King George Stn/White Rock Centre? Thankyous
