When will we have a really exciting fighter again like Ali, Leonard and Roy Jones etc?
The last time we had a really exciting fight the Duke of Normandy (William The Conqueror/William I) defeated King Harold Godwinson (Harold II) in the engagement on Senlac Hill at the Battle Of Hastings in 1066 which is depicted on the Bayeux Tapestry with Halley's Comet, Edward The Confessor and Harold and all that, William's half - brother Bishop Odo commissioned the Bayeux Tapestry, Harold defeated Hardrada at the Battle of Stamford Bridge which occurred one month before the Battle of Hastings, William The Conqueror commissioned the ancient document/survey/census the Domesday Book in 1086 and also commissioned the Tower of London in 1078 and then the Plantaganets Richard The Lionheart (Richard I) fought during the series of battles/Holy Wars, the Crusades against Saladin in 1193 (the Crusades lasted from 1095 - 1291) before there was a King's Ransom for Richard in 1194 before he died in 1199 and his brother John (Lackland) ascending the throne and sealing the Magna Carta (great charter in Latin) at Runnymede in 1215 before losing the Crown Jewels and dying in 1216 and Henry III ascending the throne lol. Okay I have said all this before, most recent being last week in another question lol. It hasn't been that long since we had a charasmatic figher but it is becoming pretty bland to be honest. We have obviously had some great fighters since then but they lacked the personality of other fighters if truth must be told.
