You may or may not bee too old to read this but, I really liked the Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart. It is somewhat fantasy and has a lot of action at the end of the 1st book (I'm still in the beginning of the second book). I would also recommend the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. It's about a boy who is the son of Poseidon and goes on adventures at Camp Half-Blood, the camp for demigods. It's fantasy (because of all the Greek gods) and it has a lot of action. If you want something that has to do with animals, i would recommend the book Dog by Daniel Pennac. I don't actually know what it's about but I've heard about it.

What kind of guitar do I have?

Recently I traded a $20 Pink Floyd wallet from Hastings for an acoustic guitar. Now don't get me wrong, the acoustic was in rough shape. He said it was his dad's when he was a kid, it's a mini. So i started seeing these bring flashes of light, way quicker than a second, it happened one day. I thought nothing of it, maybe i was trippin. another day it happened two times in a row, i definitely noticed it. I kno when im looking at something then suddenly a completely different image flashes before my eyes. i didnt see a visual picture just bright bright light. So them i started looking it up, i couldn't find anything really on the subject. So if you have some info on it I'd appreciate it On that note has anyone ever just looked at the fabric of space? but to look at thge fabric of space is to look at nothing, its hard to explain, you have to look threw nothing instead of look at nothing. ive also start seeing these tiny white lights today.. i cant see them anywhere else except when i look at the sky in the day time. again its when i try to look at that fabric again. but they are kind a big in size and sorta fly around, i know what floaters are and its not them. floaters are kind a grayish and odd looking all of these lights are the same size and move in the same pattern just in different directions, for a split second then they disappear. but the thing is, they're is never less of them some always show up in different places but the ones i focus on vanish.

How to cure noisy neighbours who won't turn down music volume and laugh off complaints from neighbours about t?

Hi All, I stay in a block of flats in Edinburgh and a guy has moved in above me who continually plays his music at such a high volume that I battle to hear my TV at full volume. He continually moves stuff around the flat and dropping what appear to be heavy objects. I would imagine that his floors are laminated as every sound carries to me who stays below. Myself and the guy who stay above him have been to talk to him about the noises and he ignores us and says its his flat and he'll do as he wishes. He is a tenant in the flat and we cannot find out his landlords name to make a complaint to her. He walks around the flat from room to room and I can hear every sound he makes, if carpets were fitted in his flat it would make 100% difference to the sounds being carried, and all of these complaints happen at all hours of the day whether its 3pm or 3 am. I am a shift worker and this is starting to affect my well being and sleep patterns. Any suggestions on a pay back that would alter his opinion.

What does fresh blood in stool look like?

I know from the title this sounds like a silly question. But I have seen parts of my stool (solid stool, not diarhea) look red. Not the whole thing, not in one particular place, and I didn't see a pattern. The red portion wasn't any more liquid or solid than the rest of the stool. The water didn't change color to red. If I see jelly bean sized parts of my stool as pinkish/red should I assume that this is blood or food? I ate Sushi, a Spicy Italian sub at subway, an Apple, and a Fiber one bar today if that helps. Hello! I am writing a story about this odd couple who live in a duplex building. The main male character is Schuyler Hastings, a highly intelligent yet completely socially backward twenty four year old who doesn't show any hint that he could even be sexually interested in anybody. He acts robotic in emotions. People assume that it's because he's socially backward and in a way it is somewhat but the main reason is because he walled himself up because he was viciously beaten as a child. Nobody really knows this though. He meets a girl, twenty one year old Lily Grey, who has a past that nobody really knows because she never really talks about it. Lily and Schuyler are literally at each others throat and are constantly matching wits and fighting and pranking each other ruthlessly. Somewhere along the lines of all the fighting though, Lily falls for Schuyler. He never realizes it. Schuyler fell for her as well but he doesn't realize that either. One night she has to pick him up from work and she's late because there's an accident on the highway and traffic wsa backed up. She finds him in a dark auditorium, playing the piano with his eyes closed. Yada yada yada, some stuff happens and she admits her love for him while laying on top of the piano as he plays. His fingers falter over the keys and they are silent for a bit before he plays her a song and starts to sing it quietly. The song is him telling her that he fell for her too and loves her back. What song would be perfect here? I can't think of anything =/

I can't sleep!!!? ? About sleep pattern...?

I'll stay up for days without sleep and feel tired, but never fall asleep. When I finally do I sleep for 4-5 hours that night then up again for a couple days. Then I'll finally sleep again but this time for like 16 hours! Is this normal? Should I see a dr about this? I feel like it's ruining my life!

I remember things I do while sleeping?

I wake up at night and see things like spiders on the ceiling, birds, things falling off my bed, etc. Sometimes I even wake up my husband to show him what I am "seeing" and I have rational explanations too. Like when I "saw" the bird I told my husband that it probably came in because we left the door opened, which we did earlier that pm. The weird thing is that I remember what I have done most of the times and I never did it when I was pregnant with my daughter. I asked my dr and he said that there was nothing to worry about and I am harmless when I do those things, but my husband gets scared when he leaves town, afraid that I could get in the car, take off and leave the kids or something (when I was living with my parents I woke up, head to the front door and tried to open the lock, my parents were awake and able to stop me and put me back into bed). Another thing is that I never slept walk when our baby was sleeping with us. Anybody has noticed the same patterns or have any advice?

It's hard to explain, you really wouldn't understand unless you've done it or had the urge to do it yourself. Like with bulimia throwing up relieves your stress and makes you feel good. It's hard to explain, it just feels better.

Why wont my period go away?

ok so i usually have really heavy periods every month that are very painful not so painful that i cant walk but painful enough that i just crunch up in a ball with a heating pad if i were to take a bath with it it would literally be "blood bath" every now and then i get a light month and more then a breath of fresh air but its a pattern i make my calender to keep track the day it starts the day it ends. it goes like this: first 3 days heavy and painful next 2 significantly lighter not so painful but annoyingly painful off and on all day 5th day really light and is usually gone by the time i go to sleep or leaves sometime during the night. but as of the last 3 months its been so different 1 month heavy painful and all that jazz next month light not so painful next heavy ect but this month is by far the wierdest of the the 3 cuz it started out so light and no pain at all! i accepted it with open arms and thought of it as a catching a break that was on a sunday on tuesday it got a little heaver but not much still no pain thursday it got really heavy like it usually is but still wasnt painful so i was still grateful friday and sat it was light again then it got heavy sunday and monday and today tuesday i have to change every hr which i havent had to do for a while but i usually only have my period for 5-6 days never 10+days and i still dont have any pain! not that im complaining but my mom had cervical cancer and uteran cancer at age 19 im 17 she says she bled for 6 months straight so when i tell her whats goin on she just says its happened to her and its nothing but im worried this never happened before im not on birth control and i've never had sex i dont have a gyno doc at all and my reg doc is convinced that she knows best and whenever i ask for something she says "your young it has to be this way" so can anyone tell me whats goin on?

Im writing 3 novels currently. Mine sound good, but yours might be better. All you need to do is put a little more flow into the train of thought. Instead of skipping from scene to scene so fast, fill it in a little more. Also, instead of using vivid adjectives every sentence, use them a little more sparingly. It sounds kind of cheesy if you write the entire book like that. Descriptions are good for a beginning, but you'll tire of that writing style quickly. Hope to see your book in stores!

Well we were just walking out the door, something was telling me to look up, so i did, i pointed out to my mom 3 bright red lights in the shape of a trangle levitating above. Advice? Im so confused ....?

even though black moors are small compared to others, yes they do need a lot of space, actually about 29 gallons. That is ture, they don't grow but their organs do, making a painful death.If you really really wnat one i suppose you can keep ONE in a 10 gallon... but he won't be very happy.

Pain in shoulder comes back on regular basis….?

Hi All wondering if you could help – I’ve got bad shoulder pain, gets worse at night but hurting more now during the day. It’s not necessarily when I move it, it can be while I’m sitting still – so no pattern in that. Doesn’t feel like muscle pain at all, doesn’t really feel like nerve pain. It hurts by the shoulder blade all of the sudden and then the throbbing starts and can last for hours…what does this sound like ? My hand can shake too but no pain in the hand…It may disappear in a few months, then come back every now and then which is why it doesn’t sound like an injury

Why do male feminists agree with everything a woman says/does?

First, I can't stand that dirt bag Michael Moore and he doesn't represent all feminists just like I don't. That said, I will admit when I was younger I used my pro-feminist stance to tap some beautiful feminists. But I was young and I realize that it was wrong that I did that. Can I cut my plaid drapery fabric on the vertical?

I have a piece of plaid drapery fabric that I want to use to make 2 valances for my bedroom windows (2 windows). Would it be ok if I cut the fabric on the vertical length? I need to add a smaller section to each side of the main piece (according to my sewing pattern). If I cut it vertically, I would have enough fabric without having to add the extra side pieces and not have the aggravation of trying to match those darn plaids. Would the valances hang right? Maybe you'd better clarify where it is that you'll be going to school. I googled "Art Institute Vancouver" and came up with several possible locations. Kitsilano and Marpole are pretty good, Rupert Park isn't bad, Middlegate would be low on my list. East Hastings is fine in daytime but you probably wouldn't want to be there on your own at night. The West End of Vancouver is good too. Having a car might not be of much benefit if you have to pay for downtown parking in the daytime. It's not cheap. You won't find all day street parking at any price.

I have a four month old baby (first child) and have been searching high and low for a carrier that she would like. I finally found one after spending about $400 on carriers. I have tried four other kinds and she has hated them all. Anyway, I found one and they run about $100. I got a really cute one in a girly kind of print which my husband will never wear. So, I thought I would use this excuse to buy another one because there are at least 2 to 3 other patterns/colors I like. I find myself stalking them on ebay, amazon, and online, etc. This is not unusual behavior. If I take a fancy to something that is. Part of me REALLY wants another carrier, and we can afford it.
